About the Author
Timothy DeLizza grew up in Brooklyn, NY. He lives in Baltimore, MD and works as an energy attorney for the government.
His novella "Jerry (from Accounting)" was published by Day One. His work was awarded the 2020 Barry Lopez Nonfiction Prize and selected by Joyce Carol Oates as the runner-up for the 2020 Calvino Prize in Fabulist Fiction.
His fiction has appeared in Southwest Review, Prairie Fire, Another Chicago Magazine, and Grain Magazine. His essays have been published in Salon, Washington Square Review, Earth Island Journal, and Undark. He has run Drinking Club, a Baltimore-based variety show, since 2016.
